hmmm. nice that there's a lot of information on our diverse cultures. But im more interested in our shared history. Do we have some papers on history? like pre colonial history. We maybe more westernized here in the Philippines but our youth are having identity crises also. hehe. P.S. our local folklore considers Mt. kinabalu in Malaysia sacred, our early language looks like that of Indonesia and we are more genetically related to borneans than other Filipinos. It'll be a great help to us if we could check on whats common. Hey, when you say "isa"(1) its understood throughout the Philippines and I guess Malaysia and Indonesia also and that our capital city - manila/maynila was reuled by rajah solayman (before spain captured it) - who was a nephew of that era's sultan or brunei? Thanks. p.s. can you create a site for teens like us - sharing opinions and trivias sure helps a lot in having us appreciate our shared identity.

In this website I hope people can search information about ASEAN’s culture like traditional festival, dancing or cultural heritage. It’s good if the information is update, like traditional festival that celebrates in ASEAN member countries. This website can be another way to promote ASEAN to other countries. Salute for COCI unit :)

It’s very convenient to have a single website where you can get information on the diverse cultures and cultural events of the ten ASEAN Member States. Moreover, the pictures really help in visualising the accompanying descriptions. It’s a website I would visit regularly and therefore I look forward to reading more stories under "traditional festivals". Cheers!
